Bottas: "Hamilton just played it very cleverly today".

Valtteri Bottas came second in the Belgian Grand Prix, which gave him a good result for the team. In the race the Finn never really managed to attack Lewis Hamilton and there was always a gap between the two teammates.

"I had a chance at the start, but I think Lewis played it very cleverly in the first corner. I didn't really have the momentum to go past him. I couldn't pass him on the straight either. Those two things really made a difference. Lewis was already clear today and yesterday he was also strong", the Finn said after the Grand Prix.

"I had no idea why the team didn't just let us race. Luckily for me, there were no big problems in the race. Lewis got more points this weekend and I'm happy that we have another chance next week at Monza," said Bottas.
