After the first two days have been completed at the Spanish Grand Prix, only the most important one, the race itself is left at the Barcelona circuit. In terms of the weather, what do the teams need to watch out for?

The race will get underway at 15:00 local time (14:00 GMT) at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya, with Oscar Piastri starting from pole position. It will be a hot and dry session, according to the FIA's weather portal.
To begin with, teams will not have to worry about having some rain, as the possibility of that happening stands at 0% throughout these two hours, even if it could turn out to be cloudy.
At the start, it will be 31 degrees Celsius, that will drop by two degrees to 29 during the one and a half hours of run time. The track temperature will also drop. Once the lights go out, it is predicted to be between 44-48 degrees celsius, and that will drop to 38-42 degrees.

In terms of the winds, it will be between 10-20 kph throughout the day. What's in the red according to the FIA's weather portal are the wind gusts. These can reach up to 30-40 kph during the session.
