Max Verstappen has been named the best sportsman in the world. He will be presented with the Laureus Award for this. The price is known as the Oscar in sports.

First Dutchman

It is the first time that a Dutchman has won this prestigious prize. In this competition, Verstappen defeated tennis player Novak Djokovic, swimmer Caeleb Dressel, athlete Eliud Kipochage, American football player Tom Brady and football player Robert Lewandowski.
Undoubtedly, Verstappen will receive the prize for capturing the F1 world title in an amazing battle with Lewis Hamilton.
