Charles Leclerc set the pace in SQ1, finishing just 0.060s ahead of Lando Norris, with Oscar Piastri a further 0.055s behind in third. Lewis Hamilton took fourth ahead of George Russell, while Liam Lawson impressed in sixth, finishing ahead of Red Bull teammate Max Verstappen in seventh.
Antonelli recovered from his early trip through the gravel to secure eighth place, with Gabriel Bortoleto and Pierre Gasly completing the top ten. Arvid Lindblad finished 11th, followed by Nico Hulkenberg, Yuki Tsunoda, Esteban Ocon, Alex Albon and Franco Colapinto.
