The F1 Sprint at the Singapore Grand Prix will begin at 17:30 local time (10:30 GMT) after the start has been delayed.
The plan is to complete two formation laps behind the Safety Car, followed by a standing start.
The laps behind the Safety Car also help to remove the standing water from the circuit.

Rain delay in Singapore

The Sprint was originally scheduled to begin at 17:00 local time at the Marina Bay Street Circuit. With around 10-15 minutes to go until the start, however, it suddenly began to rain hard at the Marina Bay Street Circuit.

Now, the start has been delayed for the second consecutive weekend. Last Sunday, the Bahrain Grand Prix in Malaysia was also delayed due to wet conditions.
