F1 Standings | Russell cuts Antonelli's lead after dramatic Canadian GP Sprint

Kimi Antonelli has had his lead in the Formula 1 drivers’ championship cut following a dramatic Canadian GP Sprint Race.

The Mercedes driver now sits on 106 points after finishing P3, behind his teammate after contact between the pair early on. Antonelli's move resulted in contact at Turn 1, with and the Italian eventually losing P2 to Lando Norris after going off for a second time at Turn 8.

Russell closes in with eight more points after winning the Sprint, Antonelli suffered three off in Montreal, after chasing Norris for P2.

In the constructors’ championship, Mercedes continue to lead after both drivers scored well in the Sprint Race, now on 194 points ahead of Ferrari on 118.
