Mercedes has locked out the front row for the Sprint at the Canadian Grand Prix, while three drivers are set to start from the pit lane. Here is the full grid for the Sprint in Montreal.
After a
close duel in Sprint Qualifying on Friday,
George Russell is set to start from pole position in today’s Sprint at the Canadian Grand Prix. The British driver defeated his teammate by just 0.064 seconds, with the Mercedes driver also lining up on the front row.
Looking to chase down the two Mercedes are McLaren and Ferrari. The Woking-based team occupy the second row of the grid with Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri. Lewis Hamilton is set to start P5, while Charles Leclerc will line up alongside him on the third row.
Red Bull Racing will start from the fourth row of the grid, with Max Verstappen lining up in P7 and Isack Hadjar in P8. Arvid Lindblad and Carlos Sainz complete the fifth row after strong performances from both drivers on Friday.
Fernando Alonso will start from his best grid position so far this year, lining up 15th for the Sprint at the Canadian Grand Prix.
