VIDEO | Aston Martin back on a Formula 1 circuit after 60 years

The new Aston Martin AMR21 of Sebastian Vettel and Lance Stroll was tested for the first time on the Silverstone circuit on Thursday. During a filming day, both drivers came into action and this resulted in beautiful images.

After 60 years, Aston Martin once again presented a new car ahead of the Formula 1 season, and it is proud of it. The presentation, which was led by former Bond-Girl, Emma Arterton, was a big hit and included video messages from Daniel Craig (James Bond) and Tom Brady (American Football legend).

A day later, on Thursday, the new car was also tested. The AMR21 was allowed to drive 100 kilometres on a damp Silverstone track, the maximum permitted during a filming day. Stroll and Vettel both got behind the wheel. Stroll, it seems, with a green helmet, and Vettel chooses white and pink.
