Verstappen's mechanics go berserk after overtaking Hamilton

Not only at the pit wall was the tension high, because also the mechanics of Max Verstappen couldn't keep up with the tension in the garage. The images were captured by the team.

A world title decided on the last lap of the final race. Red Bull Racing has seen a lot of crazy things, but this was the real deal. The mechanics were jumping and screaming in the Red Bull garage hoping Verstappen would overtake his rival Lewis Hamilton on the final lap.

Emotions went back and forth in the garage as Verstappen overtook his Mercedes rival early in the lap. With two long straights to go it is still very exciting. Hamilton does everything he can to come back and beat Verstappen. He fails, so the mechanics sprint to the barriers to cheer Max on. There are however a few who are still bewildered.
