Verstappen hints at upgrade for Gianpiero Lambiase

Max Verstappen was helped by his team with a good strategy during the Dutch Grand Prix. After the race, Verstappen could not resist a joke towards his race engineer.

Verstappen had a tougher time at Zandvoort than in 2021 and ultimately had to rely on a good strategy. His race engineer, Gianpiero Lambiase, guided Verstappen well through the race, and Verstappen acknowledged this afterwards. He announced on the board radio that GP now deserved at least a two-point upgrade.

GP didn't understand it at first, but Verstappen was referring to the ratings in F1 Manager 2022. Gianpiero has a rating of '84', which is a lot lower than the best engineers in the game: Peter Bonnington (93) and Riccardo Musconi (90), both of Mercedes. According to the joking Verstappen, his engineer now deserves at least an upgrade to a rating of '90'.
