Verstappen cannot help but smile: ''It's like driving on ice''

The track in Turkey has already been causing drivers problems, with its slippy surface making grip hard to find. According to Max Verstappen it looked like an ice rink.

Before the first free practice started, a cleaning team in Turkey decided to quickly refurbish the track. However, it has subsequently caused the track to be slippy with many drivers comparing it an ice rink.

''Hahahah. Mate. It's like I'm driving on ice," Verstappen said on the onboard radio. Verstappen has experience with driving on ice, because he once went down a snowy mountain with his Red Bull. However, the snow chains from that time were not around his tyres now.
