AlphaTauri send AT04 onto the track for the first time at Misano

While the curtain was drawn on the new Ferrari SF-23 in Maranello, AlphaTauri visited the asphalt for the first time with the AT04 some two hundred kilometres away. To Yuki Tsunoda the honour of doing the first kilometres in the new car.

AlphaTauri chose to schedule a filming day on Tuesday at the Misano circuit, known mainly as a motor racing circuit and home circuit of MotoGP icon Valentino Rossi. Tsunoda was the first to try out the new F1 car.

The Italian racing team unveiled the AT04 on Saturday night in the heart of New York. From there, the team soon travelled back to Italy, where the new car took to the tarmac for the first time with Tsunoda behind the wheel. Presumably, Nyck de Vries may also take a seat in the cockpit to make his first metres.
