Max Verstappen and Kelly Piquet celebrate their love in the Japanese snow

While the spring sunshine is increasingly showing itself in Europe, Max Verstappen and his girlfriend Kelly Piquet have been enjoying a short winter sports holiday on the other side of the world. The overjoyed love couple - along with little Penelope - could be found in the Japanese mountains for the past few days, where they enjoyed the nice weather, skiing and, of course, each other.

Kelly has shared images via her Instagram page of the dream holiday, in which she wears a bright white jacket. In one of the photos, we see Verstappen lovingly lying with stepdaughter Penelope, probably tired from all work. Incidentally, it is not clear whether Verstappen himself had also took part in skiing. The Red Bull Racing driver obviously does not want to risk injury.

Next weekend awaits the Japanese Grand Prix at Suzuka, one of the triple world champion's favourite circuits. Some two weeks after his DNF in Australia, he will surely want to start a new series of victories. Either way, the trip to Japan is already a success for the young family.
