Despite the torrential rain and stormy conditions that have hit Sao Paulo and the
Brazilian Grand Prix, Lewis Hamiton's tribute to
Ayrton Senna is currently taking place around the
Interlagos circuit. The seven-time world champion will get behind the wheel and do some laps in the Brazilian's iconic 1990
McLaren car.
In 1990, Senna clinched the world drivers' championship in his
McLaren, one of the most iconic cars the sport of
Formula 1 has ever seen. Now, 34 years later, Hamiton will get behind the wheel of it for a special demo run. The Brit regards Senna as his idol growing up, and he said this run will be an "emotional experience." To watch the demo run and the drivers' parade, be sure to watch above!
