Gasly and Ocon address fans together: "Yes, exactly as Pierre said"

Pierre Gasly and Esteban Ocon have spoken to their fans together on Alpine's Twitter account. The two drivers want to put Australia behind them soon and are already looking ahead to Baku.

In the video, the Alpine drivers do not really look back at what happened. The main message is: we need to look at the positives and work together to become even more competitive and score more points.

Gasly kicks off: "This is hard to swallow, but it is positive that as a team we showed good pace during the race and definitely some positives to take from the weekend." The driver, acquired from AlphaTauri last winter, appeared to be on his way to a top-five finish in Melbourne, but a late red flag changed the entire Sunday. Gasly remains on four points in the world championship after three Grands Prix.

Ocon follows on from his teammate: "Yeah exactly as Pierre said. There is a lot of good things to take away. We were, you know as quick as the cars in front. Things did not click our way this weekend. We are always on the wrong side of the points. But you know, we move forward as a team. It's a good lesson learned for all of us. A lot of things to take onboard, so we will come back stronger back all together and score some good points there."
