Analysis of the new SF21: 'Not as extreme as the competition'.

On Wednesday, Ferrari presented the new SF21 for the 2021 Formula One season. With an unveiling featuring many photos and even images of their engine, it's still a special insight for a team as closed as Ferrari. Craig Scarborough analyses these images.

Ferrari went through a deep slump in 2020, resulting in an eventual sixth place among the constructors. The team must try to rectify this in 2021 with a new engine, and a few minor changes to the car. In a new video by Peter Windsor, F1 expert Scarborough analyses this new SF21.

Of course Ferrari only shows what they want to see, but Scarborough is impressed by all the details the team shows. This is of course especially true for the engine on show. According to Italian media Ferrari also made a huge step with the new engine, but Scarborough says you have to take news from Italian media with a pinch of salt.
