Alonso makes a fool of Alpine team boss after suggesting he is on holiday

Formula 1 is on holiday and so are most of its drivers. Fernando Alonso, however, proves once again that he has little else but racing on his mind. He is not currently on holiday in Greece, as his team boss Otmar Szafnauer suggested.

The Alpine driver is not spending his holiday at the beach, but rather at his own circuit in Oviedo. There, he raced in a go-kart on Wednesday, in front of a group of fans. As Alonso himself calls it, it is his 'favourite activity on holidays', and there is no one who dares questions those words. It caused some amusement in the comments, as team boss Szafnauer suggested to Autosport.com that the driver is currently spending some time on a boat in Greece.
