During the winter tests in Barcelona the fans see the Formula 1 cars in action for the first time on the track, but what is it all about? James Allison explains it in conversation with Peter Windsor.

Mercedes the beating team

If there is one team that knows how to build a car in modern times, it is Mercedes. The German team won the last six world titles and mostly finished with both drivers in places one and two in the championship. Technical director of Mercedes is Allison, who explains in a new video from Windsor how this process works.
When does the team actually start building a car and where do you start? Do you start from a basic principle of the team or do you start over every year? How long does this process take and who are all involved? These are some of the questions Allison will answer in this video.
