Albon receives welcome gifts from Russell: "I'll put this in the bin"

2022 will be an important year for George Russell and Alexander Albon. Russell is finally making the big switch to Mercedes, while Albon is parting ways with Red Bull Racing to make his comeback in Formula One at the Williams team. Ahead of that shift, Russell has a welcome package for his successor.

The duo have known each other for a long time and are therefore good friends, so some banter between them is inevitable. First Albon receives a Williams cap with Russell's name and number on it. Russell thought it was a fitting present, but Albon thinks otherwise. "I'll put this in the bin", he says.

Among the gifts is also a PowerPoint for Dummies book. That last one might prove to be valuable, because in the past Russell showed himself in the spotlights by explaining Toto Wolff why he should choose him as a driver by means of a PowerPoint presentation.
