Want to own an F1 car? A McDonald's happy meal might just be the way to get it!

With the upcoming release of the F1 movie produced by Lewis Hamilton and starring Brad Pitt, many rumours ar circulating about a potential partnership with McDonald's, which could make you the proud owner of an F1 car.
Not the real thing of course, otherwise it would be a really expensive meal. But with the economic health F1 currently boasts as background, the potential for further increasing those earnings through merchandising for the F1 movie seem to open new doors.
The giant burger and fries chain restaurant is rumoured to be in partnership with the F1 movie to produce and distribut F1 toy cars in their happy meals to further bank on the movie's blockbuster potential.

What does McDonald's say regarding a potential partnership with F1?

The burger and fries franchise has neither confirmed nor denied the rumours that point to a commercial partnership with the racing series. However, there was a tweet that seemed to reveal that the concept of the cars and the cups even were already in advanced stages, if not done already.
If rumours are true the United States, Mexico and Japan would be the three countries that would see the F1 toy cars make it to the happy meals which would allegedly include: a cheese burger with bacon, a side of fries, a soft drink and a F1 car scale replica of of two available models.
F1 "The Movie" is set to hit theaters in 25 June, 2025.

Not the first time F1 and McDonald's partner up?

Recently, when Sergio Perez was still driving in F1, namely in the late stages of the 2023 season the Mexican driver signed a sponsorship deal with McDonald's, where consumers could order the 'Checo' Perez menu, which included a big mac, a side of fries and a soft drink.
