The Red Bull Racing RB18 is still too heavy. According to the latest rumours, it is possible that four kilos can be taken off the car before the Italian Grand Prix.

Upgrade in Italy or Singapore

It is the biggest problem Red Bull faces in 2022. The F1 car is simply too heavy. Several times the car has been made lighter by updates this season and according to Sky Sports F1 reporter Ted Kravitz, the next upgrade for the cars of Max Verstappen and Sergio Perez could come before the next Grand Prix in Italy.
According to Kravitz, it is an upgrade to the chassis itself which is four kilos lighter. However, it is not yet certain that Red Bull will be able to introduce the upgrade at Monza. If not, the upgrade will have to be ready for the Singapore Grand Prix at the Marina Bay Street Circuit.
