Toto Wolff is confident in Mercedes that the current problems with the W13 can be solved. Fighting for the world title is probably not going to happen anymore according to the team boss, but competing for victory in the races is a realistic goal.
Mercedes had imagined the start of the new season differently. Last year the team won the constructors' title, this season Lewis Hamilton and George Russell have to do their best to end up on the podium.
However, the reliability of the Mercedes is a strong point, because due to Max Verstappen's DNFs, Russell is now on P2 in the driver's championship. Also in the constructors' championship, Mercedes has overtaken Red Bull for the second spot.

'Mercedes still the same team'

Team boss Wolff continues to reiterate that he is convinced the team can turn the season around. "I've been in this situation before in life, and you just need to be humble about it", he is quoted by Crash.net. "We just need to concentrate on ourselves and chip away, the performance. The team is still the same, that won many of the championships.”
