Tuesday, February 3 is the big day when Williams will finally unveil the FW48 to the world after skipping the Barcelona tests.
The Grove outfit is in fact the only car yet to be seen on track after the five days of testing that officially marked the start of the 2026 season, with all the others already logging mileage.
Delays in completing the FW48 project forced the team into the tough call of skipping the first week on track in order to arrive fully ready for Bahrain, which is shaping up to be the first real benchmark for starting to get a clearer picture of the competitive order.

The brief launch event will get underway at 15:00 CET (14:00 GMT), with a short presentation video setting the scene before images of the real FW48 are revealed.
You will be able to follow the event here once the link becomes available.

Williams drivers support Vowles after frustrating decision to skip F1 test

When asked how the drivers reacted to the news that Williams would not take part in the Barcelona tests, the former Mercedes man said both Sainz and Albon understand what the team is trying to achieve by pushing everything to the limit.

Speaking to a small group of media, including GPblog, Vowles explained: “They [the drivers] stand shoulder-to-shoulder with me. They're clearly - as I am - disappointed. They're racing drivers; they want to be out there testing the car, and whilst they're in our driver in-loop simulator in tandem now to increase that programme, it isn't the same.”
