Will Verstappen make it into qualifying after his slide in third free practice?

Max Verstappen is not only leading the championship, until today the Dutchman was also one of the favourites for the pole position in Baku. After his unfortunate crash during the third free practice, the question remains: Will Max Verstappen make it to qualifying in Baku this afternoon?

Halfway through the third free practice session, after shooting straight into turn four, the Dutchman lost control of his Red Bull in turn fifteen. The Red Bull slid straight into the wall and caused a red flag.

The crash caused significant damage to the front wing, and the brakes also smoked. Verstappen's slip repeated the mistake Leclerc made on Friday, in the same spot of the track.

Red Bull's engineers are expected to have repaired Verstappen's car on time, which means that the Dutchman's qualifying performance will not be seriously affected. However, it remains to be seen whether any additional damage to the car will be found in the meantime.
