Will Mercedes stay in Formula 1: "Still many topics to discuss"

Mercedes has shown the Formula 1 world their 2020 livery. Not much has changed for Lewis Hamilton and Valtteri Bottas, but a new colour can be seen on the car as a result of a new sponsorship.

The logo of the INEOS chemical company can be admired on the inside of the front wing and on the airbox. The five-year deal is encouraged by the Mercedes team, who have been predominantly silver since their introduction in 2010.

However, it also prompts questions about the future of Mercedes. With a five-year deal, the future of the team also seems to be increasingly in Formula 1.

"We are still discussing the future in F1 with the shareholders, but it takes time to work out the details. There are still a lot of topics on the agenda and we have to figure that out first," says Toto Wolff at the presentation.
