In 2024, weather made the Grand Prix especially interesting, as drivers had to use the slick and intermediate tyres as well. In the end, Lewis Hamilton managed to claim his ninth victory at his home weekend.
What is the weather forecast for the F1 British Grand Prix?
It will be significantly cooler than it was last weekend in Austria, and rain is also expected throughout the weekend.
According to the FIA's forecast, it will start off sunny on Friday. Then the clouds will increase, but it will not rain on Day 1, with 24 degrees Celsius during FP1 and 25 degrees Celsius during FP2.

On Saturday, it will be significantly cooler, and rain is also expected.
After a cloudy start, from late afternoon onwards, it will start to rain. Exactly when the rain will fall and whether it will impact qualifying is still uncertain. It is cloudy this day with a moderate southwest wind. For FP3, 19 degrees Celsius and for qualifying, 20 degrees Celsius is predicted.
