Where does the Emilia Romagna Grand Prix get its name from?

Grand Prix held at Imola (or the Autodromo Internazionale Enzo e Dino Ferrari) have gone through many names, but its current full name is Formula 1 MSC Cruises Gran Premio Del Made In Italy E Dell'Emilia Romagna 2024. The shortened name is simply the Emilia Romagna Grand Prix, but where do they get this name from?
The race used to be known as the San Marino Grand Prix until 2006 when it was dropped from the Formula 1 calendar after 26 years. However, it was brought back in 2020 as the Emilia Romagna Grand Prix, as the Italian Grand Prix was already being held in Monza. Therefore, they took the name of the region of Italy Imola sits in, with the track just south of the town.

Emilia Romagna is an administrative region of northern Italy, comprising the historical regions of Emilia and Romagna. It has a population of 4.4 million, in an area of 22,446 km2 (8,666 square miles). It is one of the wealthiest and most developed regions in Europe.
The Emilia Romagna region is also home to Maranello in the Province of Modena, which is the home of Ferrari. VCARB also have a factory in the region at Faenza, although they now have a larger factory in Milton Keynes alongside their sister team Red Bull Racing.

The region is also home to two Serie A teams (the top Italian football league), Bologna and Sassuolo.

Who won the last Emilia Romagna Grand Prix?

The last race at Imola was held in 2022 after the 2023 Grand Prix was cancelled due to flooding in the area. It was won by Max Verstappen, followed by his teammate Sergio Perez, with McLaren's Lando Norris taking third. Previous winners at the circuit are Verstappen in 2021, Lewis Hamilton in 2020, and Micheal Schumacher in 2006.
