The next Formula 1 race is the 2024 Bahrain Grand Prix. It will be held between February 29 - March 2. It will be the first of 24 Grands Prix in the 2024 Formula 1 calendar and follows pre-season testing at the same venue. The race will be held on a Saturday night to work around Ramadam.

When is the next Formula 1 race?

The next Formula 1 race is the 2023 Bahrain Grand Prix. This event will take place in Sakhir. It will use the traditional format of Formula 1, with three practice sessions, qualifying and the race.

The 2024 Formula 1 calendar

The 2024 F1 calendar features 24 stops around the world. It will include the most races a F1 season has ever had, though it was hoped that total would be reached in 2023. The Chinese Grand Prix had to be cancelled, and the Emilia-Romagna Grand Prix was also cancelled. Both of those races are now back on the schedule.

After Bahrain, the F1 circus will head to Saudia Arabia one week later for another Saturday night race. There is an off-week before the Australian Grand Prix towards the end of March. This race is tied in with the Japanese Grand Prix which completly changes places on the calendar. F1 will return to China for the Grand Prix on April 21st.
