Brendon Hartley is fighting to retain his seat at Toro Rosso. Luckily for him, he managed to avoid any first lap dramas as all the carnage unfolds in front of him. The New Zealander picked up two points following disqualifications for Esteban Ocon and Kevin Magnussen.

He posted this tweet on Twitter. Perhaps a little CV or even a reminder to Helmut Marko and co of the talents he posses.

High fuel, cold tyres, turbulence, dirty track and 20 F1 drivers wanting to make up places always makes things interesting on lap 1 👀 . Other than floor damage from debris on lap 2 I got through pretty cleanly. Cheers Austin, you are always good fun. On to Mexico 🥊 🇲🇽
