Two drivers caught the Wall of Champions right after each other, Oscar Piastri and Nico Hulkenberg. While the German just touched the wall, Piastri has to deal with more damage.
Approximately 20 minutes into the session, championship leader Oscar Piastri hit the Wall of Champions in FP3. As a result, he damaged his MCL39, but could bring it back to the pit lane.
The debris on the track also lead to a red flag.
Over the team radio, the McLaren driver said: "I've a damage, I don't know if it's a puncture or the suspension," but it seemed like the latter was also damaged.
In the garage, he remained in his car, and could continue in FP3 after.

Moments later, Nico Hulkenberg also spun exiting the final chicane. The German was luckier, as he barely touched the wall. "There is a bit of damage on the rear wing end plate," he reported.
