Sebastian Vettel left Ferrari at the end of last season. Although the German was able to give himself a year off, he decided to move straight into his next project and join Aston Martin.
The four times world champion plays an important role in his new team with all his experience. Otmar Szafnauer also notices Vettel's contribution, the team boss told Motorsport.com. "Seb is brilliant. He came to us with the idea that he wanted to enjoy racing again. I often talk to him and I think he is enjoying racing again, which is great."
The German driver knows better than anyone how a driver should behave in Formula 1. "Seb brings a mentality that he already had when he won all those races and world championships. He leaves no stone unturned in the way he goes into the weekend and what he asks of us. That goes for both sides of the garage. Lance and his team have learned from Seb, and that has helped us move forward."

Strong performing Vettel

Vettel earned points for his team at three Grands Prix this season, putting him in 12th place in the world championship with 30 points. Lance Stroll has twelve points less than his teammate.
