During a drivers parade before the Grand Prix the drivers are getting wet on the circuit of
Spa-Francorchamps. Despite the bad weather
Max Verstappen is looking forward to the race and is proud of the fans who keep watching in the bad weather.
Verstappen hoped for more orange
"Its better than last," said Verstappen at the drivers' parade when asked if he could hold pole position after the start. "It should be fine. We know today is going to be difficult with the weather but I am looking forward to it."
"It's a shame it's so wet, otherwise we would have seen more orange. We are going to try to make it an interesting and cool race. Super that all the fans are here, despite the weather. I hope we can have a nice day with a good result. Hopefully we can score a lot of points," concludes the
Red Bull Racing driver.
Surprising first starting grid
Verstappen will have
George Russell next to him on the front row of the grid and can expect an attack in the first few laps from
Lewis Hamilton who will start third.
Sergio Perez will start the race from P7.
