Verstappen deals with recurring issues in the RB21: 'Can't do that!'

Once again, Verstappen referred to issues with the balance of the car at the Jeddah Corniche Circuit. "It's still my first sector, like turn 1 and 2. I just can't turn the car," he told his team over the radio.

To that, Verstappen answered: "I can't. I have no balance, basically."

Pierre Gasly set the quickest lap time during the first session of the Friday near the Red Sea. Verstappen's ex-teammate's lap times was a 1:29.239, as he marginally finished ahead of Lando Norris.

Verstappen finished in P9 with new power unit components fitted in his Red Bull, with the fastest lap of 1:29.818.
