Max Verstappen for sure will drive a Red Bull Racing car in Austria, no matter if he gets another penalty point or not at the Canadian GP. He will sit in the RB8 at Hangar-7, on the Salzburg Airport's runway.
This will be the first time the runway will be used for a motorsport display. The defending world champion will sit in the Red Bull's F1 car from the 2012 season, which Sebastian Vettel won his third F1 title with.
Verstappen will be joined by other Red Bull athletes, such as the great Dani Pedrosa (MotoGP), Daniel Sanders (Dakar), and Connor Zilisch. The event will feature demo runs, doughnuts, and a drag race as well.

For Verstappen, Hangar-7 feels like coming home

Verstappen is already familiar with Hangar-7, he explained. “I've been quite often to Hangar-7 over my life so to me, it is a bit of a homecoming every time. There is always a lot going on at Hangar-7, a lot of cool activities - helicopters, planes, cars - motorsport and sport comes together here," the Dutchman began.
What makes the event stand out for Verstappen is that multiple motorsport categories will work together. "It is always quite enjoyable when we can do something together across sports, and to do a drag race with all these different kinds of cars was very cool to witness.”
The event will be part of the reopening of Hangar-7, together with an airshow, live music and culinary highlights, featuring performances by Red Bull athletes.
