Max Verstappen and Nyck de Vries will both be in action on the first day of the winter test. The reigning world champion will take on the entire Thursday, while De Vries will only take to the track in the afternoon.

Apart from Thursday, Verstappen will also take on Friday afternoon, according to The Telegraaf. Teammate Sergio Perez, in turn, will drive Red Bull Racing's new RB19 on Friday morning and all of Saturday, which will only be seen for the first time in real life during the test days at the Bahrain International Circuit.
Sister team AlphaTauri divides its time differently. De Vries will be in action on all days: Thursday afternoon, Friday afternoon, and Saturday morning he may really get to know the AT04. Yuki Tsunoda will take to the track on Thursday morning, Friday morning and Saturday afternoon.
The winter test in Bahrain lasts from 23 to 25 February and is divided into two sessions per day. The first session starts at 10:00 local time and lasts for four hours. After this, there will be a one-hour break before the second session starts at 15:00. This lasts 4.5 hours and continues until after sunset.
