Sebastian Vettel's penalty has put the current Formula 1 rules under the microscope. The result of Ferrari's appeal will be heard on Friday afternoon after they present new evidence.
Max Verstappen has revealed his opinion on both the individual incident and the rules as a whole. Verstappen, 21, shows off his classic racing mentality.
“I don't think he was doing anything crazy when he came back on track. He was not deliberately blocking Lewis. I think it was wrong to punish him," Verstappen said.
“If it was up to me, I would have thrown away the rules book when it comes to racing. A bit of 'wheel banging' is nothing wrong with that, everyone wants to see that ... unless you are not a racer."
The Dutchman managed to add in his own opinion about what the stewards could have done better. He'd prefer the incident to have been investigated after the race, giving the fans a battle between Lewis Hamilton and Vettel.

“If you give him a punishment, you might as well put a wall where he went off. If that punishment is to be given, do it after the race, because now it is ruining the tension surrounding the Lewis and Seb fight."
