Max Verstappen entered another battle two days after the Qatar Grand Prix. This time the Dutchman participated in the final night of the VCO ProSim Series, finishing in second place in the so-called bonus round.
The Red Bull Racing driver was asked to take part by his Redline teammate Dominik Hofmann. "I was actually at the Jeddah circuit driving an F1 car when I got a message from Dominik, my teammate," he told Motorsport.com. "He didn't have a professional driver for tonight's race to join and asked if I might want to. He was maybe not expecting me to do it."

Verstappen enjoys sim racing

Verstappen showed his skills on Tuesday. He started from pole position and stayed ahead of sim champion Chris Lulham. But when Hofmann took over the wheel, he didn't manage to stay in front. Nevertheless, both men were satisfied with second place.
"The car we drive here is of course completely different. The steering, the braking and also the way you accelerate is quite different from what I am used to. But I like that. Outside the F1 season, I like to drive as many different cars as possible, just to challenge myself. And I think in the end it can help you in Formula 1 as well."
