Max Verstappen appeared to aim a subtle dig at rival Formula 1 teams during his end-of-season address to Red Bull Racing staff in Milton Keynes. “Maybe other teams can do that the season after, or two seasons, or 20.”
- Max VerstappenThe Dutchman, who visited the Red Bull factory to reflect on the campaign, praised the collective effort behind the team’s resurgence, particularly in the second half of the 2025 season, while slipping in what appeared to be a cheeky jab at rivals.
“Everyone is just as important to achieve this type of success, and especially, I think, in a season like this where we had tough times and everyone stuck together and made it work. I know it sucks to lose by two points,” Verstappen began.

“But at the same time, we can be super proud… coming out of very tough times and overcoming these things and starting winning again in one season. Maybe other teams can do that the season after, or two seasons, or 20… some.
"It’s super impressive to see that, and for me, I’m very proud to be part of it. It’s honestly like my second family,” he concluded.
The 2025 campaign proved to be one of two halves for Red Bull Racing. After struggling early on, the Austrian outfit mounted an extraordinary comeback, finishing on the podium in every race during the second half of the season.
