Verstappen on relationship with Horner: "It feels like one big family"

Max Verstappen has already had quite a few years of experience in Formula 1 at a young age. He has spent all that time within the Red Bull Racing family, where he still feels very much at home. His contact with team principal Christian Horner is also closer than ever.

"We have been spending already quite a few years together and I have to say it’s been going really well. We have a really good time together and it really feels like one big family," Verstappen told the Chequered Flag-podcast.

He continued: "We try to of course go for the same goal but it’s also nice to just have those times like especially now in the triple header, you have to travel from one race weekend to the other and you don’t really get to be at home and you end up spending more time together. I think that’s great."

"We have a lot of fun and that’s important throughout a season like this where there are a lot of things happening. It’s important to remember you need to have fun as well. You need to enjoy the moment, and not only afterwards," Verstappen concluded.
