Verstappen enjoys debut in RB16B: 'That gives a great feeling'.

Max Verstappen came into action with his new RB16B for the first time on Wednesday. In the morning the Dutchman had some time to familiarise himself with the RB15, but in the afternoon he stepped into his new car and it was to Verstappen's liking.

On Tuesday Red Bull Racing presented the new RB16B to the world, with few changes visible on the photos. Of course there will be changes, but not all at once. At Silverstone, Verstappen was able to put his new car through its paces during a filming day, although he had to share those miles with his new teammate.

''I started with the RB15 to just get a few laps in after the winter break and then I jumped into the RB16B. Days like today are all about getting comfortable with the car and with the new power unit, trying to make things run smoothly and trying to be well prepared before we go testing in Bahrain. It’s always good to be back driving a Formula One car and the first time you go out of the pits is such a great feeling,'' Verstappen said in the team's statement.
