After finishing in fifth in during qualifying in Spain, Max Verstappen thinks that he could've beaten Kimi Raikkonen, who ended in P4, but he concedes that a top three finish was out of the question for the Bulls.
It looked like Verstappen was going to start on the first row for a while, but he got overtaken by Bottas and both Ferrari's in the final minutes of Q3.
"It went well like always, until they tweaked the engine," he told Dutch tv network Ziggo Sport.
"The difference between soft and super soft was too small, that's not how it should be.
"Top three was never possible, but we could've taken Kimi I think."

When asked about potential tyre strategies for tomorrow's race, the Dutchman had the following to say:
"Maybe we'll start on the softs and move to the medium, I don't know yet.
"We'll see tomorrow."
