Verstappen impedes Stroll and Piastri
As the session drew to a close, Verstappen was making his way, albeit slowly, down the back straight. Where it is mandatory for slow drivers to jump out of the racing line, the Dutchman did not comply with this.
He instead stayed on the racing line, thus disrupting Lance Stroll's and Oscar Piastri's flying lap. An investigation by the Stewards has not been launched as of now. It is yet to be revealed if Aston Martin or McLaren will report the matter to the Stewards.
