Verstappen and Norris mind games continue in Qatar Sprint Qualifying

Just as the Red Bull Racing driver was finishing a flying lap in the first session of Sprint Qualifying, Norris was sitting on the outside entering the final corner.

The incident was noted by the stewards under impeding, but the stewards declared that it required no further investigation.

Over the team radio, Verstappen said: "I had a McLaren in my way!"

Norris began his lap immediately after, but Verstappen did not pull over, and did Turn 1 ahead of the British driver.

The championship leader commented: "Yeah... Verstappen just didn't get out of my way. He just cost me my lap!"

Norris race engineer, Will Joseph replied: "Every other lap he has pulled over immediately after he has completed his lap."
