The sprint race in Austria is fast approaching and teams are getting ready to battle it out. Earlier today, the FIA shared a summary of all the modifications teams have made under parc fermé rules ahead of Saturday's short race. Yuki Tsunoda 's car in particular has undergone considerable work by the VCARB team.
The Japanese qualified 14th for the sprint race, a result that apparently prompted them to make adjustments to the car. It is particularly noticeable that they have refitted some older parts. This mainly applies to engine parts. As many as five old parts have been put back on the car, including the: internal combustion engine, the MGU-H and the MGU-K, presumably to save other parts ahead of the race.

No further consequences

All the tinkering with the car will not affect Tsunoda's starting position for the race. He will start the race 14th. The sprint race starts at 12:00 CET on Saturday. Max Verstappen starts from pole position, with McLaren drivers Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri right behind.
