We're now over 1 hour and 30 minutes into today's testing session in Barcelona! Max Verstappen currently leads the pack after posting a 1:19.207 inside just 20 laps today. Romain Grosjean led the field in the early stages of the event.
Lewis Hamilton, the championship leader, has been the busiest driver this morning posting a total of 35 laps. The quickest he could manage so far was a 1:19.616, enough to place him second behind Max Verstappen. Interestingly, Mercedes seem to be trying out a new light system fitted on the back wing. It could look great during the night races and help during wet races.
Bit of a buzz this morning about Lewis’

15 mei 2018Ferrari's Sebastian Vettel hasn't been anywhere near the top pace so far in the session. We don't know exactly what run and fuel load his team are under but 1.5 seconds behind the leader is some distance.
The highest placed British driver outside of Lewis Hamilton is George Russel. He's in 7th.
