Yuki Tsunoda will make the transition to Formula 1 in 2021, provided he obtains his super license. The Japaneseman has already tested at AlphaTauri and, according to Allard Kalff, is making a big impression on the AlphaTauri team boss.
After the Grand Prix of Emilie Romagna, Tsunoda was allowed to make meters in a Formula 1 car for the first time and did so properly on the circuit of Imola. According to Allard Kalf, Franz Tost even loves the young Japaneseman. In the podcast F1 aan Tafel, the future of the Honda Protegé will be discussed.

Tsunoda turns out to be an enormous talent

''The question of whether he will be the same as Max Verstappen in the future, time will of course tell. Max is an outsider and I don't know if Yuki is. However, I do have high expectations of him and that is because of a telephone conversation I had with Franz Tost'', says the presenter of RTL.
''Franz asked if my Christmas present had arrived, which I had received from him after a bet, so then I asked Yuki how things were going. Then he literally said: 'Allard, he's really very good'. If Franz says that, then I trust that he has a view on the matter and that this Yuki may become something'', concludes Kalff.
