The Ferrari driver first sparked intrigue on July 28 when he released a cryptic video referencing‘ 8-8.’ This led to speculation about what it could mean: a major F1 announcement? A new sponsor? No one knew for sure. Now an outlet has unravelled what it is about - and it’s definitely not related to Formula 1.

Hamilton's mysterious announcement revealed

The anticipated announcement by the Ferrari driver appears to be related to his tequila brand, Almave. The wine and spirit company, co-founded by Hamilton, has produced premium non-alcoholic spirits among other drinks.
