No more curse, no more getting a pole position and failing to win the race afterwards: Chares Leclerc has won the Monaco GP, and converted starting P1 on the grid to a victory for the first time since the 2022 Australian Grand Prix. Of course, the Scuderia celebrate appropriately in Monaco.
Leclerc did not hesitate to do the famous jump into the water, this time, the sea, Ferrari have posted on X (formerly known as Twitter). However, he did have to do one thing first: push his team principal, Frederic Vasseur too.
This was Leclerc's sixth Grand Prix victory in Formula 1, and the first time he stepped on the podium in his country. As an added bonus, on Saturday, Leclerc also earned Ferrari's 250th pole position in the sport
