The second week of testing gets underway in Bahrain, so it's time to look forward to the on-track action. Max Verstappen will not be in action for Red Bull Racing during the first day, relinquishing his seat to Sergio Perez throughout Thursday. Find out who else will be in action on Thursday at the Bahrain International Circuit.
Start of the F1 season
One more week and the Formula One season will really start with the Bahrain Grand Prix. Before that, however, the teams and drivers have one more chance to prepare for the start of the season. In Bahrain, the teams get three days to test their latest inventions on the track.
Most teams in Bahrain have chosen to divide the day into a morning and afternoon program. Only Red Bull Racing, AlphaTauri and Williams planned to send out one driver. McLaren had no intention of doing so, but an unwell Daniel Ricciardo means Lando Norris has to be in action all day.
The Haas team has bigger problems. There, the parts of the car arrived too late due to a delay in the cargo flight. The American team hopes to be in action on Thursday afternoon with Pietro Fittipaldi.
