Marnik Kok caught the Formula 1 world around twenty years ago. A deep passion for motorsport, Ferrari, and a background in journalism led him to contribute to various (international) F1 platforms. Sitting still is not an option — especially not in motorsport!
Max Verstappen appears to still be in Sardinia, based on posts from his girlfriend Kelly Piquet. The Brazilian posted two photos, clearly taken on a boat. It's therefore likely that Max is also there.
In recent days, it emerged that Verstappen had flown to southern Italy. This fueled speculation, as Toto Wolff was also reportedly in the area. Could the two be discussing a move to Mercedes?
Of course, that could have been the case. But Kelly Piquet's social media shows her enjoying a "mini-vacation," likely on her lover's boat. Max Verstappen can also relax for a bit, as the next Grand Prix isn't for another two weeks. Plenty of time to unwind in the Mediterranean!
